This film depicts ceremonies of Vodoun, deities of ancestors and natures spread in the Gulf of Guinea, and its relationship with national politics. The shooting was held in the period of Vodoun in the village of Benin, which falls on the time of campaign for the presidency in 2016. By following the daily practice of mediums, this film sheds light on the correlation between local religious actors and national politics, the structure and the communication in the communal life of ritual performers, as well as dramatic ceremonies of dance possession by Vodoun.
