Saada Elabed

Judge for Wiley Blackwell Student Film Award

Saada Elabed is a PhD candidate, lecturer, and assistant at the ISEK – Department of Social Anthropology and Cultural Studies, University of Zürich. As part of her PhD, she curated the exhibition Workpieces?, which explores the significance of Bedouin embroidery tied to questions of belonging and identity. In her work, she integrates various media and employs exhibition practices as a research method. Since 2020, she has also been the director of the Regard Bleu Ethnographic Film Festival.
