What do people do with a degree in visual anthropology? A panel from a variety of roles across academia, TV and independent filmmaking discuss their career paths and how their training in ethnographic filmmaking has influenced the way they work. The panel will consist entirely of MA in Vis Anth graduates, including the chair, Ed Owles, who will be in conversation with BAFTA/RTS award-winning director Gavin Searle, BAFTA-nominated feature doc producer Elhum Shakerifar, ethnographic researcher Alma Berliner, PhD student Lana Askari and Bristol-based freelance TV director Will Lorimer.
