This multi-layered documentary explores the way we navigate the stories that are presented to us during childhood and how we choose to pass them on through ideological influences and shifting values. Anecdotal interviews and improvised storytelling sessions with five families are combined with parallel archive footage to create an entertaining and intimate investigation of the relevance of folk tales for modern life.
