Synopsis
Hurling is a game combining skill, speed and strength. Players – even at the highest levels – are amateurs, but still spend hours on training. Through the encounter with hurler Shane Dooley, we learn how the game is played at the highest level with the county, though the heart and pride remains with the local club, in the local community.
