Borders, tell stories of division, conflict and war that hold history and collective heritage related to places where physical dividing subjects took place. Division cannot be erased from the minds of those who experienced them. Stories on borderlands in addition to physical and socio-cultural differences lead generations born after the end of divisions to a blustery past they haven’t personally experienced. Speed filming to a process of observation deducted through map layering and site visits to one of the most conflicted borderlands of Jerusalem (where a division between East and West took place) was edited with music of a recent revolutionary song playing in the background.
