A photo essay showcasing the sights and sounds of a multicultural suburb in Birmingham. The daily happenings of a new migrant community, made up of Romanian Gypsies, are interrupted by barbed but also rather explicit remarks about their presence. To avoid ethical issues, no photos of people are used. Rather, photos, which mark the Romanian community’s habitancy in the town are shown. Meanwhile, we hear a selection of the daily sounds of the town playing over the top.
