Piercing and layering the artworks of the Beijing Natives and the migrant workers reflecting on their intricate links with the spaces in and out of the city—space as heritage, the lack of public space, hometown-urban villages-factories, this sound collage presents a potential of blurring boundaries of the two dichotomic cultures of the Beijing Natives and the Waidi bi (provincial “cunts”, a local slur referring to migrants).
