A video letter from four Ikpeng children introducing their village, in response to the children of the Sierra Maestra in Cuba. With grace and lightness they show their families, their games, their parties, their way of life. Curious about meeting children from other cultures, they ask for a response to their video letter. This film is part of Arandu: Listen to the Weather, a festival sidebar celebrating 35 years of Indigenous filmmaking from Brazil: key films and filmmakers working from the late 90s to the present. Guest curated by Graci Guarani, Takuma Kuikuro and Christian Fischgold for RAI Film Festival 2023.
