Following various members of The Forest Collective in the run-up to the ‘DIY’ arts space’s Tenth Birthday celebrations, we observe some of the internal and external struggles faced by this ‘autonomous’ community in Edinburgh and, through them, explore notions of liberation, compromise, and what it means to be ‘free’.
